Aaron and Christy Krisfalusi met many years ago at National Distributing in Atlanta selling wine and spirits. They shared a territory and quickly began sharing everything else. One of their long range plans was to open a wine-focused store somewhere near the ocean. The birth of their son made them realize that they wanted to leave Atlanta. It also gave them focus and desire to make their dream a reality.

Aaron has spent his entire life surrounded by a family that loved wine. As a college student, Aaron worked at the best restaurants in Pittsburgh and had the first taste of what wine could do for his career. Since then Aaron has been a wine specialist at some the most extensive wine distributors in Georgia and moved on to work for prestigious wine importer, Dreyfus Ashby.

He has traveled the world tasting and importing wines for many areas including St Simons Island. Aaron and Christy fell in love with the community and when the opportunity to purchase The Still arose, they jumped.

They are dedicated to being honest business owners and enjoy providing wine education to their community.

“The ultimate goal of The Still and Winery is to become the recognized leader of wine and spirits on St. Simons Island. We will constantly strive to exceed our customers’ needs and educate their palates. The Still will offer a wide variety of products at competitive prices and conduct the business of selling alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner which will reflect favorably on the owners of the store and the citizens of St. Simons Island.”
